Cover pot and simmer for 25 minutes or until soft. Strain through jelly bag or cheese cloth. You need to have 1 quart of the crab apple juice (add water if needed), return liquid to pan, add 4 c sugar. Boil until 220 degrees stirring frequently, put in jars leaving 1/4 head space.
