Ball Blue Book, The Canning Bible

One of the most important items to own when preserving is the Ball Blue Book.  The Blue Book covers canning, freezing, dehydrating and is a planning guide.  I've been canning for years but I always use the book to make sure I remember the exact time I need to can an item.  No one who preserves food should be without this wonderful book.

  1. i have never had one of these,but always wanted one. Now when my prize package comes,I will!! I do have an old Farm Journal book of canning and freezing that I love. Have you ever seen one of those? I think you'd like it.

  2. I have never heard of that book. I love the Ball Blue Book, I have an old one I used and will use this new one now.
