The day after canning all day is a little laid back but still a little busy. Every jar needs to be checked to make sure it sealed, have the ring removed, the rings need washed, jars washed and everything put away.
First thing make sure the jar sealed, then it is important that you remove the rings from the sealed jars and to wash and dry them thoroughly. I always add a little bleach to the water and use a scrubby to make sure they are clean. Next I wash all the jars of food. I add cool water to the sink, a little soap and some bleach and wash the jars down. After they are dry I label them and then put them away to enjoy when needed.
