Corn Chowder

I made a pot of Corn Chowder, something I haven't had in years.  I used the flowing things:

I cut up about 3 pieces of bacon and browned until almost done then I added 1 chopped medium onion and finished browning the bacon and cooking the onion.  Next I added 1 pint of chopped ham pieces, 1 pint of corn, 1 pint of potatoes cut into cubes, 2 tsp parsley, salt and pepper to taste and 4 cups of milk.  I simmer this for about an hour.   The corn was sweet and the ham had a good smoked flavor which made the soup very good.
Soup for a simple but delicious supper on a cold day.
