Flu Shots

My husband and I got our yearly flu shots today.  There are those that believe in getting them and those that don't.  We have been getting them for years and feel they are very important to get.  Some say you can still get the flu even if you get the shot and that is true.  There is nothing out there that will give you 100% protection but I feel that getting it gives me a better chance of not getting the flu than if I had not received the shot.  In all the years my husband and I have gotten the shot we have never had the flu.  If you are one that gets the shots this is a reminder that it is that time of year to get your shot.  If you have not received the flu shot in the past talk to your doctor about it and see if they feel you would benefit from getting it.

    1. Glad that "you all" get your shots every year. Unfortunately the older we get the worse illnesses affect us. Take care and my love to all.

  2. I get the flu shot every year and still end up getting the flu (but I always seemed to get the flu when I used to NOT get the shot as well). I guess my kids bring home a lot of germs from child care/school, so I look at it as a way to try and help prevent at least a couple strains of the flu!

    1. Kids seem to bring home every germ out there no mater how protected we are. Good for you to continue getting the shot.
